Why do they insist on a FULL tank of gas? Is it a safety precaution? If I show up with 3/4 of a tank and 200 miles of range, will they kick me out?

Thanks
It's up to you really. Since this is mostly a beginner run group, we may not be driving aggressively enough for you to be eating debris. However, if you're driving close to someone and they put a wheel off, you'll get debris on your front end.

Full tank of gas because fuel gets sloshed around the tank during hard cornering and you don't want to run any risk of cutting fuel supply as you use gas.

Last time I showed up with 3/4 of a tank, I couldn't even complete the 20 laps. I almost couldn't make it back to the pit. Definitely be there w/ a full tank :-)

In case anybody is still checking this because of the rain:

It looks like the rain will clear, but expect the track to be wet and slippery especially during the first session.

The track was very challenging today, very wet and it wouldn't stop raining completely. I am glad you guys had fun :-) Here's my GoPro footage:

Hey Brent - off topic, but I am in the process of having a serious dent removed from my hood caused by a neighbor's tree (!) after a rotten limb fell and hit the car (M4 Vert). Goes in for repair to Momentum's body shop tomorrow.

Realize I need to let the new paint/clearcoat cure for minimum of a few weeks. Was considering returning to Vive on Bellaire to have the Xpel ultimate re-applied to the hood (and potentially one fender) but curious if you also do this install/application? Had CQuartz finest applied previously by them and would need it to be reapplied also.

After visiting your site, am now considering having a level 2 minimal detailing by your company if you can also do the Xpel (see you do do ceramic coating) - curious to know if you can cover all of the above ,

Cheers, C.

Wow V, thanks for those shots. I have to say, after almost a year in my M4 and knowing every single angle on that car, the multiple M3's I was around Sunday really won me over design-wise. There is simply no substitute for flared fenders, and the M3 has those in spades. It's a wonderfully aggressive sedan.

I signed up for TWS in January (wait listed) and plan on signing up for the February runs once spots open late in December. Please let me know if you do either. Also, MSR - its on my 2016 list of goals.

Awesome, you'll love their HPDE if a spot opens up. Think this event amped up by two orders of magnitude!

Can't say that I'm falling out of love with the car either. It's the ultimate jack of all trades and I can't ask for anything more. Maybe adaptive suspension for the crap roads, but my back is good

Glad we got a core group going where we can have some real fun with our machines.
