Smile Getting MP HAS INSTALLED

Finally getting MP HAS installed at the dealership (BMW West Houston).
I had a chat with the tech and explained I wanted to maintain the same rate but lowered. Not looking for the slammed look but removing the huge gap in the front.

Will update, post before and after pictures.

Not to jack your thread. I got this kit installed on my f80 couple of week ago.

I was looking for same results as you.

That looks good, that removed that huge fend gap. What size tires are you running?

Dealer charged $900 with alignment

Indy shop wanted $500 no alignment. Alignment would be extra

For reference, in case it helps anyone else, my MP HAS is on-order from bmwpartspros (Black Friday deal: $1,182 including shipping and the hardware), and my SA at my local dealer (Mt. Laurel) was able to quote me an install cost of $637 (for 5 hours, as per BMW install instructions; and if they take longer I won't be charged. And this includes alignment).

If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll send you contact info for my SA there.

So after a week, I can honestly say the drive is the same as stock but I feel the car is better planted. I haven't pushed it yet as I'm getting my break in service tomorrow. Will report back.

Depends on what version of I-step you have.

If it's the latest one, all you need is install+alignment.

I have 2016 F80... what's I-step? If coding is not required, I'm seriously picking up a set before sale ends. help!

It's the software that makes your car work

While there is newer versions available since 2016, you probably have a new enough version that you won't benefit too much from the update.

how can I check the software version?
And if I have a "new enough" version, basically this kit is going to be just expensive OEM lowering springs?
