Damage front seat
Damage driver seat 2019 M4, how can I get this repaired any advice would be appreciated.

I think this is quite common, people tend to put pressure on there with an elbow when entering and exiting, which just pops the seems. Although it looks bad, as long as the leathers not torn, it should be an easy fix for an upholsterer.
I think John on the forensic detailing channel on you tube, had this exact issue (although not as bad) on his M4 CS. Good luck getting it repaired! |

Exactly same thing happened to me!
My mate is 6”6” and he must have leaned there getting out and the sticking ripped. The leather seat cover comes off handy enough I just haven’t got round to it |

If you're still under warranty, go to the dealer. If not, find a good upholstery shop in your area.

Mine suffered similar, I was just within warranty period. Changed under warranty, no quibble at all.
As has been said, that needs go go to the dealer with a view to a warranty claim using consumer rights. That damage should not be happening. A new seat back cover was itro £700 iirc when they replaced mine. The seat cushion cover is over £900. I'd have thought they would just sort it without fuss to be honest.

To be fair I haven't contacted the dealer about it yet so will speak to them tomorrow
but will also check if my Warranty still in place as I had the car for 4yrs now. Anyway thanks. |
