6MT 0-60 help

2018 m4 base 6MT bone stock. So here’s a ss of my 0-60, I’m not launching because my diff bushing has some play that thuds when I launch above 3K. Getting the bushings replaced in 1 week but wanted to test out my new dragy today lol. This is with rear tires at 28psi at roughly 70 degrees hot. Also uploading my 60ft via 1/8th mile even though I let off the throttle at like 65mph.

“Launched” like a normal take off +, so maybe like 2k rpms? Mdm mode, not traction completely off
Shifted from 1st-2nd around 7k rpms
2nd-3rd at around 6800 rpms

I’m sure with traction completely disabled— and a reliable rear end— I could shave off like .5 seconds, but I’m not 100% about the shift rpms.

Here is the video from that run.

Maybe I’m not shifting fast enough?

Update: Still not “launching” but pretty dang good numbers; half a second faster and still on MDM. Going to flash a Stage 1 ots 93 map, let’s see how the numbers look for that swapped from mhd to bm3 so i can use a f80paul tune in the near future.

This is a good way to glaze or fuck up a clutch.
Don’t ask me why I know.

Do you mean launching regular rpms, launching high rpm’s, or launching in general?

My method rn is to not rev it up at all, I take off like normal I just do the movements a bit quicker. I did the same thing in my e46 when bushings were coming up on my to do list, that clutch got shredded but that was also back when I would clutch kick every turn 😂

Got it down to 4.77s, that is good enough for me. Will test 60-130 when I can safely do so, until then I’m done with launches until I do my rear diff bushings and charge pipes. Cheers.
Here is the video of that pull.
