And the only people crying about BMW having a M3 sedan are the people who own E92's....

I think an M3 sedan is fine. Kind of like the family man Sports sedan, but below/different than an M5. I haven't driven an E90 M3, but from driving 335i E90 and E92, its a very similar experience. Just a matter of if you want the extra doors really.

I will be glad is there is only a coupe...Its odd to see a high performance compact car like the M3 in a sedan version. Keep the family sedan version buyers going to the M5.

M3 sedan is a great car. I owned both e92 M3 and E90 M3. Both are excellent cars and your statement that sedan dilutes M3s is way far from truth ...

i fall into the niche of ppl who want a m3 or a high performance sports car with functionalities like 4 doors. if they didnt make a sedan, im not going to down grade to a 3 series, and i dont want to upgrade to a m5. imo, thats wasted money because there is no way im going to fully take advantage of the m5 and push it to its limits. hell, i wont be able to do that with a m3 either. if i cannot push a 60-70k car to its limits, there is no way i can push a 90k+ car to its limits. imo that extra 20k is just a complete waste of money. screw the whole idea about being true to their m or m3 roots. just look at the x5m and x6m? TOTAL deviations from what a m car should be, yet they exist. if they made those travesties, i think they can stomach making a new m3 sedan, which will be exponentially more successful than the x5m and x6m, which are complete flops. |

Sorry, Bimmer Nerd I'm with them. Your post about sedan M3's driving terribly is laughable...
