Hey appreciate that man! You nailed it with the classy but sporty comment!

Definitely get SS from those 3 colours, black is a PITA to keep looking nice, and mineral grey is just too dark for me personally.

My salesman told me that mine got so many comments from customers and staff before I picked it up, that they've got another SS m3 in the showroom now lol

I have posted these PICs before I realized there was a Silverstone thread.

When I ordered my car I picked this color specifically for two reasons. Coming out of a Carbon Black 640i GC the maintainience of a dark color was too much to experience again. Too OCD. The other reason, although it's not as stricking as some the other colors offered it is probably the color that shows the lines of the M4 best. I would not have chosen it for an M3 but for the long lines of the M4 I think the color captures them best.

For you guys with SS, how is the color at hiding dirt? Can someone compare it to a white, black, or dark blue as far as ease of upkeep?

OEM 19"s in silver look damn good with SSII. Much better than the black 19"s.
And i totally agree with you on SSII showing off the lines of the F8X, which is the reason why I went with that color. It was either SSII or MW, but white is played out and Mineral White is a bitch to color match.

I am embarrassed to say that I have not washed my car for over 4 months. I have gone on to two 400-mile trips and there has been rain from time to time. It still look very clear from 15 feet away

I have not had a chance to wash the car for over 3 Weeks and it still looks pretty clean. The color hides dirt really well.

SSII has an almost bare aluminium hue to it as well, I can spend many many hours just staring at its numerous shades.

Pictured with my "daily" driver lol

Beautiful! My wife had the V8 M3 in this colour and we now have a YMB and SSII F80 each, but can't say I've ever seen it in almost bare aluminium!
