would be smart to give them M4 an extended leather package option.

I don't care what they name it so I'm not going to argue that but I still don't see how and why people think the 4-Series will be anything different - it's not going to be a baby 6-Series where's it's going to blow people's minds in this class of cars. From the spy pictures, it looks like going mimic the F30 3-Series like the E92 did to the E90 and I don't think any one really thought they were really different. You could sit in an E90 and then in a E92 and I doubt you would say they feel different. The drive, while not 100% the same, feels very similar. I guess it comes down to how you really view the E92 and E90. If you thought they were truly different cars, well you're going to think the 4-Series is a brand new car. If you're like me who thought the E92/E90 were pretty much the same with the only difference being the number of doors. No one knows for sure with the limited info out there but I just don't see anything that says it's going to be heads and shoulders above the 3-Series. |

Sure, but The Lime Rock Edition is just shorthand for an M3 with all (or just about all) options, Individual Fire Orange paint, and Individual interior touches. So it cannot predict the base price of the next car. It is essentially an anomaly.

I agree that this could push the M4 base price a bit over 70k. But it won't be by much if so. |

thats because the concept is meant to be a flashier more futuristic looking car for show with weird bumpers, those elegant mirrors, the weird door handle, the big flashy 20 inch wheels with pirelli tires not even the standard Michelin. the interior was more hand crafted for luxury with the baseball stitching ugliness they added to the doors and seats and those ugly cup holders. all for show because the standard 4 series will just look duller so this is why we look forward to the M4 to look for a nicer style.

You really did an amazing job on the photoshop!
However, where did you get those wheels from? I don't recognize them, own design? Gotta love those as well! |

While I'm really excited how this M4 is turning out, I can't help but be even more excited about the M4 GC. I'm not particularly a fan of the M6 GC because I think the trunk is way too short and flat, but if they pull it off on the M4 GC, I think we might have a winner.
Melbourne Red, with Cinnamon interior (if not, boring black will do) with CF roof M4 GC. Done deal. We can always hope, but I think that's doubtful. The really good news is that the M3 and M4 will finally have a HUD. That's the biggest thing that was missing IMHO.

When you look at that, do you get the same feeling when you look at the A5? Sure you can argue well the A5 is just an A4 but Audi has done a good job with aesthetics in making the A5 feel like it's a much higher model. BMW has done no such thing with the production model. |

I hope that is optional. The tech is fun, but for me it was distracting. Maybe I was not used to it. But it also adds alot of weight, and BMW did their best to make the car lighter. Contradictory.
