I have Opal white individual leather coming in mine, and I hate seat covers too. Makes the car look cheap.

Solution- dr Beasley leather protection

This doesn't look like it will stay in place on a seat that has integrated headrests like the F8x.

On occasion, if dirty, I'll use the throw away garment dry cleaning plastic bags. A little slit, and they fit right over the seat backs. You can keep them in your trunk until needed.

I need something quick because I'm using my car for UBER and the other night I hammered it for a couple of hotties at the beach headed out and realized around 2/3 gear she had an open beer. Ugh. Either she spilled it or she liked me more than I though since her bottom was a bit wet when she got out

I'm planning on asking my dealer to give me a dozen of those plastic covers they put on seats during servicing. Then I'll just throw those in the trunk and use them whenever I have to

I workout frequently and hate getting in the car sweaty. I use a new white waffle shower curtain and removed the metal grommets. I double fold it and tuck it in. It doesn't hurt the seat, is soft, absorbs/repels liquids, folds up neat behind the drivers seat, is inexpensive, and can be tossed in the washer every week or so. Perfect solution in my opinion.

Just picked up a Seat Shield Ultra Sport Cover at Amazon…

Here is their site...
http://www.seatshield.com/product_in...eda57acd4e3fbf

It folds up nicely into the "hood" that fits over the headrest. It is waterproof and machine washable…

Here are some pics of the fit...

Seat covers?

Anybody know where I can purchase some seat covers? I went with opal white interior and I take extremely good care of my seats.

As of right now I use towels to prevent Jean stains etc. Didn't see any offered from BMW. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks in advance!

Should get the plastic seat covers that some people use on couches.

You Uber in your F80??

Why the need to do uber if you have the means to get an F80? Just curious, I don't mean that to be offensive. Especially since Uber is so cheap now days it surely is not paying off that well right?

Old thread I know.

I'm not ever 'dirty' to the point I'd worry, though I do wear a lot of denim.

I use one of those soft matts you get with a child seat which is intended to protect the back seat.

It sits nicely on the base of the seat and has a lip at the back to protect your lower back rubbing also.

It has the added benefit of being padded

Why? Just why? Why spend the money on the leather to cover it up? My driver seat after 30k miles looks just like the passenger seat which has like say 500 miles of use. Just clean and condition the leather as needed. Besides that, use the car, you have spent an assload to own it, enjoy it. You are saving it for the next person who will just try and lowball you on price anyway.

Could be plenty of reasons. I made a cheap homemade version of this out of an old towel that I use every day after my gym workout for my drive home. I'm usually drenched in sweat, don't want that all over the leather... It's only about a 10 minute drive, then take it off and put it in the trunk when I get home.

It's sweat, not food coloring. If you are that concerned, when you get home, wet a papertowel and run it on the seat.
