Modding these beautiful, practical cars allows you to have the best of both worlds. A great looking, high quality daily driver with a quality interior & full back seat. Can be driven toned down with exhaust flaps closed on efficient. A perfectly usable family car. Then...can be switched to a full-on, raging beast race car with 600+ whp that smokes GTRs and 911s. It's such a great Jekyll & Hyde car.

Appreciate your post really, but the GTRs and 911 are pretty hard to smoke especially on track as those guys have much less problems with traction...

If you mod you run the risk of losing your warranty. Regardless of what you used to tune it, BMW is able to find out that you did.
Now, one can also determine that running 50whp more than what the engine was designed for is not going to do much damage. 600hp is a different story. As always, you pay to play. At least you risk paying if you want to play. Right now this isn't a big deal as the cars are new and low mileage cars do not tend to blow up. We'll see later on how reliable they are |

Anyone who thinks a flash tune is hidden is insane. The dme is aware of the true load target and stores it in the protected area with Max rpm and road speed.
Also BMW has already stated Dinan cars do not qualify for CPO so a flash tuned car won't qualify either. If its a lease expect a letter stating you violated the lease terms modifying the car, them to auction the car, and send you an invoice for the balance due. |

The BMW dealer which is NOT a Dinan/BMW dealer told the client to leave the mods on and both cars are for sale on the lot with Dinan listed as added performance mods. |

Absolutely, although it was a Nismo. But stock for sure.
Wouldnt stand a chance against modded GTRs. They are absolutely sick!
