Personally, I wouldn't be up for doing the work, but if you're serious about finding an M4 GTS at MSRP, you're going to have to dig hard. I'm talking about building a phone list of every BMW dealer west of the Mississippi and start dialing. Get a list of everyone who has one, and start playing dealers against another. Start by telling them you've got an offer at $25k over MSRP and work your way down. Send them a photo of Kelly's email with the name blocked out and tell them that you talked them in to the low side of that bargain. Good luck.

Build a phone list. When I tried getting on lists for the M2 CSL at MSRP, I did my initial research from this forum (M4 GTS) where a lot of people pointed out dealerships that sell at MSRP. Based on talking to those dealerships, I was able to learn about a few more dealerships that only sell at MSRP. I just went ahead and tried getting my name on every dealership that did this and were prepared to start a list. It might be a little late to get a GTS at MSRP now but basically, if someone already has a car allocated to them and backs out of it, the dealership could call you and try offering that car to you. That's what happened this weekend when I put up the post about the GTS at MSRP. Slim chance but worth it in my opinion. There are a lot of dealerships on the East coast (especially Atlanta and Virginia) that sell at MSRP or very close to it. Get your names on the list in there and you could get lucky. That's if you really want the car. |

Don't go based off of the listing price online. When you call them, they always have a different list price. There are dealerships that list them online at 10K under and spike it up by 25K when you call them.

This. I think that's the market, more or less. The when that went at live auction was about ~50k over, but that was a one off, frozen, carbon wheels, dog and pony show. Market seems to be in that 15 - 25k range. Haven't heard of anyone transacting at list or 5k over. Maybe there's been a handful at 10k?
I've looked at the car and I think it's very nice and limited, but I just don't see the extra 50k - 60k over a competition pack with some nice M performance bits. Add in the LCI with potential GTS style pack, and the line is going to blur even further.

Bwoah, you guys in the US are lucky. Emailed a few dealers here and Germany and they've all been sold, and everything on mobile.de (German car site) is marked up at least 50k, all the way up to 200k and over.

Silly question, but didn't you have a GTS already? Did you manage to sell her?

Yes I had one of the first GTS cars in the states and I feel at that time the market was still unknown. I purchased my car for $25K over sticker and I was very happy to sell it at the exact price that I purchased the car for. Do I miss the GTS? Absolutely, it's a great car. In all honesty I don't feel it's worth it with a dramatic price increase but at sticker or $10K above I feel it's a worthy example of BMW engineering.

I have one available. Mineral Gray. fkalkanis@gallerygroup.com
My dealer will do one at 10k over if anyone is interested. It's like 15k less than most others. PM me if there is any interest.
