Got them installed on my 2019. Was plug and play. Everything worked without coding but there were malfunctions thrown sporadically even though everything was working. Just no return signal basically from from the lights to the FEM. Marius was able to fix it with some fdl coding.
Below are pictures One picture is next to a pre-lci White M4. You can see the DRL brightness difference pretty well here. Last edited by F80manz; 09-23-2023 at 05:31 AM.. |

I got no regrets, well worth the money. Headlight have held up great for almost a year already. Only thing is I wish I put on a clear bra on the headlight prior for rock chips

Any update on the best place to purchase these and the final verdict for which model headlights require harness + coding vs. Which do not? Seems like F80manz was plug and play but there is conflicting information earlier in the thread

As for which ones require a wiring harness, all pre-lci adaptive headlight cars require the extra wiring. The kits are plug and play for pre-lci and lci non adaptive lights. However, keep in mind that all retrofits will need coding in some capacity. As far as the seller tells me, no you can not. But I haven't tried to take off any of the modules yet. |

I've read nothing but negative comments about bimmerplug in numerous threads. Also, your link says "designed by bimmerplug in california". I don't believe that for a second. Those are even the same pictures from Alibaba/aliexpress of the headlight housings. They're the same lights, marked up. Which is in line for most of what i've read about your products. |

auto highbeams work? do you mean the low beams come on during night? if that's the case yes, welcome lights work fine as well. |

Did not need wiring for xenon everything worked straight away besides the adaptive fault, and yes adaptive does not work and needs to be coded out.
