They charge what they can regardless of what the cost to produce them. These key fobs are a low cost low priority item but since we are talking about them thats what I would want and for the few extra dollars it would take to slim them down I wish they would but it aint a big deal that for sure. give me the same function through my iPhone and I say even better

Right before I sold my old E46 M3 last week, I looked at my key and the wife's key, which she used to drive my car maybe 3 times over 10 years, my key was well wore even though it was mostly in my pocket and hers was like new.
A little key fob cover might not be a bad idea, especially if there is an M version of it to make me feel more superior.

You peeps just need to get your cars delivered. The next topic I expect to see is why is there no flashlight in the glove box.

Yes, when i bring it back to the home continent, you will have the chance to claim your seat as the Sssscreaming passenger. I keep my promises, I have the artificial balls purchased from @Sedan_Clan to make sure you can start practicing the higher notes now.

+1. This would be one the place where it does not sell out and become overly commercialized but rather instead becomes an 'extra' that only the driver knows about. I would love if someone figured out a way to get that design in the fob, it would be amazing!

if you guys really want a unique key fob, order some touchup paint for your car (which you should have anyway), tape off the area around the silver trim, and paint away! now you have a key fob the same color as your cars exterior
and you can buy the M embossed stickers on Ebay for about $1/sticker. I bought them years ago (think for one that fell off my old M Coupe) and it was pretty high quality and stuck well (made in China). Personally the only reason I like the blue on my F30 key fob is so that I know which key is for the 335 and which key is for our X3 (no trim). If our next two cars have identical keys I will probably go the painting route just so I know which is which. |
