I retired at an early age. Made a ton of cash and invested wisely.

How?

I'm certain you are all aware of professional golf caddies... I was something somewhat similar.

Back in the days of arcades I was a pinball wizard supporter. I flipper supported the grand master wizard of pinball...Leeerooy Jenkins. When he had two or more balls going at once things could get very hectic. Who was there to wipe his brow? Who was there to call out shots to him? Even the great LJ needed some help so he did not take his fingers off the flipper buttons! Xtabi was there to save the day!

One day his right index finger cramped in the middle of a wizard bonus...that's right I stepped in and saved a drain. Million dollar bonus for me on that one!

I am currently studying for my CPA and wanted to say hello to everyone. I live in Orange County and am a huge Laker/Raider fan.

Good luck! My advice is do whatever it takes to make sure you pass all of it the first time. The exam has changed a lot since I took it but I expect it is still something you just want to get out of the way once. I remember needing to wait something like 3 months after taking it before getting results, but that was many years ago now. Hopefully results are instant or at least much quicker now.

Whichever you prefer. There are good long term opportunities either way, particularly if you migrate from compliance to consulting.

It's all personal preference. I never enjoyed tax so I went the audit route and migrated into private industry financial accounting.

Guess I am the first one in Quantitative financial industry. I am trading desk quant in a top US bank (sorry can't disclose my employer's name but ppl enjoy it's fancy credit card

I find tax to be more interesting than audit, but you may find that the latter has broader exit opportunities. Do what you like - there will be plenty of options with both.
