Good question, wiring's not my thing either... I monkey'd around with that quite a bit, I think it's the way it should be. At some point will probably snap a pic and ask you guys to opine. Doesn't seem like rocket science, though I've made dumber mistakes.

Does anyone have real world feedback of this working? Down to 1/4 tank or so? Looks like you just have route the hose around the back is the only little issue?
They are on sale. https://www.bimmerworld.com/Intake-F...M3-M4-S55.html

But I know Shadow has attested to its effectiveness, and I generally trust what BW says with their real-world testing. If you get fuel starve I'd definitely pick one up with it being on sale. |

ALRIGHT LADIES AND GENTS!!!!!
Had a freaking amazing day yesterday at NJMP Lightning. Notorious for causing fuel starvation while in a sustained left g going around the bowl. Prior events I would easily experience starvation even at half a tank. Yesterday at the risk of a motor, I ran it as low as possible to see when the starvation would actually kick in... Probably right at about the 1/8 tank level. Which I would honestly NEVER go that low on track, but I just HAD to see where it would start to cut out at. SO! REAL WORLD FEEDBACK!!! IT WORKS LIKE A CHAMP! For reference I turned a 1:10:48 best time so I wasn't exactly taking it easy. Consistently in the low 1:11's high 1:10's. Entering the bowl at about 120-125, scrubbing off some speed and maintaining about 98-100 through. Thanks for the great product Bimmerworld!!! |

My setup: TC Kline 2-way coilovers, 400lb front springs, 600lb rear (current weak link) OEM Calipers, Paragon rotors, Paragon R5 pads (another weak link) Full SPL everything. -3.5 camber up front, -2.0 rear H&R adjustable sway bars Apex VS5-RS, running 295 square Hoosier R7's (purple crack) APR Rear Wing Bimmerworld GTMore Canards Sparco EVO seats, Schroth harnesses, Bimmerworld 4-point roll bar BM3 Stage 1 tune 60,000 mile OEM clutch With some more seat time I'm confident I can be in the 9's. I was making some rookie mistakes each lap. First time out this year on this setup. I'll be honest, I like Lightning better than TBolt. Probably because I ran TBolt with CCS for years on a bike, so it's just not the same in a car. Lightning is some serious fun. Can't wait to see you out there! I've got some photos of the current setup on my IG: 6spd_M |

This BW KIT really works to reduce starvation on track but I’ve been having all sorts of problems with my fuel level sensors.
The problem is random and intermittent. With a full Tank of gas it can read anywhere from 1/3 to 3/4 full in the gauge. No doubt it’s some sort of installation error where the aux pump is interfering with the level sensor on the passive side of the tank |

Yes, I had same issue initially. See my posts earlier in thread. Its all tight in there, but if you route the auxiliary pump hose around the back side of the lpfp, the way things then end up laying it should give just enough clearance to not interfere with the float

Now I need to remember to actually put gas in it regularly now. I came back with under an 1/8 tank one session. Haha
