I like the body style, don't much care for the color.

I must be a true enthusiast who loves speed. I'm way more interested in this car than I would've EVER imagined. This car and the new C7 Vette have peaked my curiosity when I thought it impossible. No longer worrying about this M being epic. My only reservation now is reliability. THAT'S ALL. Bravo BMW.

I would much rather every vent and intake be functional rather than being there for "optical symmetry". It looks like every vent and intake on the M4 will be functional.

Interested to see if those 'are' the brakes....the track mules had same calipers as your f30 M Performance type. I think the concept has hyped up M5 style brakes to fit the 'optional' 20" M5 style wheels.

The concept looks much better to me than I was expecting. I agree with some that the CF parts will likely be M Performance options, doubtful that the standard will come with CF exhaust. But this has me excited to see what the end production version looks like, can't wait to see on in person eventually.
Still waiting to hear the numbers though... |

Finally "form follows function" and the M3/M4 side gills are there for a reason. If the M4 is already looking this good in renders, this will be a thing of beauty in real life.
Now just put the final nail in the coffin and confirm the turbocharged inline-6 engine!

if that's the pricing strategy, which wouldn't surprise me, they'll hit a wall...
a decently optioned Carrera 4S with PDK (which will be faster, higher revving, and NA) comes in at $115k. A Carrera S PDK can be had in the 90's...

For those that keep pointing at that this is a concept, traditionally M cars don't fall far from the tree of their concepts. Take the e92 M3 concept for example:

A loaded E92 M3 was about $77,225, before any Individual or Special Edition options.
This M4 will be offering HUD ($1300), Active safety and parking features (~$2000), CC brakes (~8000), LED headlights ($1900), Bang & Olufsen Top HiFi ($4500) and possibly CF seats (~$3500, if offered in the USA) and Individual Composition ($6000) with a Full Leather Merino complement (+~$2000). None of these options offered in the E92 M3. I would say that this baby will cross the $100,000 MSRP fully loaded without a sweat. Last edited by Technic; 08-15-2013 at 02:09 PM..
