Screen shot of BMW remote. Go to the maps tab. Search for the location. Tap the location and this screen will pop up.

After you park the car and turn it off....if you pull back on the headlight high beam lever, the headlights/exterior lights stay on and turn off on a self timer.

Sorry I was referring to the google maps phone app. I have the BMW remote app up and running. I was asking if there is a way to use the send to vehicle option within the Google map phone app.

cannot from the google maps phone app

there's an app called "send to car" that allows you to send from google maps app..

it's free on the google play stay store, but priced on itunes...

when I had an HTC one I used that app, worked great

Just found out my car is already registered with the BMW Remote app since I already had an account and its now linked. It wouldn't provide me with a location since its further than 0.6 miles away hahah

Can anyone tell me where the heated steering wheel button would be if I had it? My passengers recently notified me of my heated rear seats lol

Same here. Also, it never hurts to have a backup. Finally, the one and only thing I use (and will ever use) Google for is mapping. Thus, I figure since I use the google maps app I would use the send to vehicle function if it had one. But alas it doesn't.

I found this thread this morning. I can't wait to try it. It's gonna drive my wife nuts. She hated the sport exhaust on my 4S. This sounds like it's going to be even louder!

Open door, enter car.
Press start/stop button one time.
Select the Sport+ Throttle mode.
Tap accelerator - you should hear the valves open.
Start car - loudness ensues.

Messages is very useful as I use the BMW Remote app to search Nav destination.

You can program almost any iDrive function into the preset buttons. Split screen on / off, Sirius Replay, POI input, etc.
