When I mean arrival date, I mean request which month my car will arrive for PCD? I'd like to get it during the month of my birthday (February).

I take it this is a matter of allocation? or specify which production date.

You schedule your delivery when doing PCD. Otherwise how would they know when you were coming to get the car?

For a Feb delivery, you need to shoot for a late December build week, or possibly very early Jan depending when in the month you'd like to get the car. Keep in mind the BMW plants are closed for an extended holiday around Christmas.

I figured that's an option but I'd like a piece of mind. I can't stop thinking about it LOL

From build completion to PCD delivery date you're looking at about 7 weeks. So yea you'd need either a mid/late december build or first week of january build. You can't really request a date, you have to try to line up the car with a rough timeframe you want to take delivery.

I suppose I should choose an individual color to deliberately extend the wait!

Yikes that I wouldn't do because those can be all over the place in terms of delay/scheduling.

Yeah, I really don't recommend that as a smart approach. If you want an Individual color, then request it NOW. I ordered in June and am scheduled for late December production because of Individual requests.

I planned on ordering this Friday or Saturday regardless of the color. I suppose I'll try to get Mexico Blue or Atlantis Blue

You can push out delivery. Mine was pushed out cause it was so busy at PCD. My car sat there for a month. Getting an allocation is the tough part, requesting for a February delivery shouldnt be a problem, unless PCD is closed for some reason during that time.

FYI, they are under renovations. I took delivery in a tent outside so if it snows there, might be a bit of a problem.

I was under the impression that they don't get snow down there.

I'm going to see if I can request a later allocation.

I really hope it doesn't snow anywhere on the east coast when I pick it up. They come with summer tires. It's not like I can bring my winter tires/wheels with me on the plane lol.

I have a perfect solution.

Order it now. Take advantage of the great holiday cash incentives that will be available.

I will graciously sacrifice my time to pick up your car at the PC late December. I will drive it around until the date you pick in February. We can then meet up at chuck e cheese to celebrate our birthdays as mine is also in February.

My present for you will be a 1,200 mile broken in car.

Problem solved!

LOL, funny man.

The dealer is giving me 5500$ under MSRP and not including the $1,500 corporate incentive. They told me I cannot stack incentives. Otherwise I would have used my graduate incentive.

Too bad for you!

My offer still stands if you change you mind.

Do you have approval for either of those colors? There is no "60 second decision" on Individual requests, so don't plan on getting everything squared away right off the bat with Individual.

I don't. I decided to just say fuck it and order the YMB. When it comes I'm not going to starve myself from the excitement. YOLO!
