Stock 18's with wider tires?

Has anyone on factory 18's gone with wider tires? Which sizes did you go with and did you notice any perceivable increase in traction or other advantages?

I ran R888s(Now R88R) on my stockers for a while.

Night and day, but if you're going to run those daily, I'd step down a size. I stuffed 305s on the stock 18s.

Wider tire gives you more grip more fuel consumption and lesser turn ratio. Good and bad.
