Need recommendations on aftermarket diffuser

Hi all,
I'm looking to acquire an after market rear carbon diffuser. I know that a lot of them come from China and may not fit like an oem. Any recommendations on a cost effective aftermarket one would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

M performance since it fits like a glove. You could try a few other more aggressive aftermarket options but the fitment is never 100%. I have a RKP diffuser and had to exchange the first one due to bad fitment. Also bought a Vorsteiner one in between which didn't fit at all so had to return it.

^this

If you are anal about fitment you need to just go M Performance and call it a day. Every non OEM carbon fiber bit I've bought ended up in the trash bin because the fitment was not acceptable for an $80k car. M Performance fits like a glove.

I bought an aftermarket one from IND in Chicago - looks great and fits perfectly except it interferes w the trunk mechanism that responds to your "kick" motion.

$92,574 but those are just numbers. Thanks! I feared but didn't want to go M performance route.

Did you install it yourself?

Usually requires some sort of re-adjustment, pushing, shoving, whatever you want to call it. The first one I ordered from IND, I had to return because there was absolutely no way it lined up. The second one was 95% on fitment (all the tabs didn't click in) but I modified it to fit. Didn't want to go through the hassle of another return/exchange. Just to be clear I am not bashing IND. Their customer service and response was spot-on. I am just pointing out that fitment on non-oem parts especially CF ones is never perfect. It is a lot more apparent when you are the installer.

YMMV, but for me, RKP fit flawlessly...like it was meant to be there.

I don't have direct experience with other aftermarket diffusers, but it seems to me like the higher cost options have a higher chance of perfect fitment than the lower cost options. But I can imagine that some high cost options don't always fit perfectly and some low cost options sometimes fit just fine. I figure it as more of an odds of success thing.

OEM CF diffuser never works with the kick sensor no matter how you align it.

It is not designed to work with the kick sensor.

I actually have a friend who installed his diffuser and moved the sensor around so that it could work. Not sure how he did it but he has a diffuser and the kick open sensor still functions.

Give Mode Carbon a look. I have the R1 that's fits perfect with no modifications needed and the weave and finish is perfect.

Sorry I never bothered to find out wear it is as I never cared for the kick feature. Always used the keys or just opened the trunk.
