curb rash on my black wheel

I accidentally side scraped one of my wheels leaving the bank today. Freaking pissed. I have the black wheels on my m3. I have fixed curb rash before on silver wheels but not black. I tried to find black wheel paint for these wheels but have not had much luck. Any suggestions? I'd like to try doing it myself. Please help!

I believe you will have a heck of a time, I have heard professionals have a hard time finding the color.

In all seriousness, you may get better advice if we could see how bad the damage is (or isn't ).

I too would like to know the answer to this as I will be ordering a 17' f80 with the black 437 wheels. Surely someone out there knows the protocol if curb rashing a black 437m wheel. Can it be fixed the same as a regular alloy? If it just black paint instead of silver?

Use the search for more detailed info, but the cliffs notes are that at least one shop has cracked the code required to refinish the black wheels. But if the rash is deep, you might be SOL.

I forget exactly which, but they're located in CT. That much I remember. I called them up and they seemed very proud of their accomplishment.

A guy near me did a good job at it also, if you see my wheel, you'd never know it was repaired.
