I took plenty of pictures and will get them uploaded when I get back to the States. The biggest lesson I have learned is never take a transatlantic flight and stay for only 2 days! lol. We got a lot done in the two days we had but fighting jet lag didn't help at all. Munich is absolutely beautiful and this definitely won't be my last trip! Pics and details coming soon!

Thank you! I am an open book! You already have the edge since it seems like a big portion of the flights to Germany depart from Philly!

Great video, but bittersweet ending (as are all ED's). Can't wait to do it myself this summer.

Congrats on the ED, it's quite the experience! Wait time is going to be brutal getting to the states, but all worth it in the end.

Thanks a lot! It was agonizing letting it go after 20 minutes but I'm going to try to take my mind off of it by ordering goodies for it, lol. Congrats on your ED, please document everything!

So I have a little update:

I've been checking the W&W tracking website for about a week and kept getting "no record found". I contacted the Welt and they told me that they didn't have any information but referred me to the company that transported my vehicle from the Welt to the port, LOGINOUT gmbh. I tried calling (during their business hours) and no one would pick up so I sent them an email. I got a prompt response with my vehicle's information:

After that, I looked up the name of the Vessel in Marine Traffic and here's what I got:

So it looks like Brasilia Highway left from Port of Zeebrugge and will be arriving in "Beemer Heaven" pretty soon. Then it should be en route to Brunswick port State Side! But that's just wishful thinking!

Nice detective work. With that much detail, it makes sense to contact them for shipping info after drop off. Seems like the fastest option.

Thank you!

So after doing a little more digging, I contacted KLINE industries which is the shipping line for Brasilia Highway. Fortunately, they have a state side corporate office so a phone call was in order. They have unbelievably excellent customer service and provided me with all pertinent details about my vehicle. Brasilia is on its way from England over to the states. Looks like it will be making a stop in Baltimore then down to Brunswick (around the 18th). I'm stalking the ship as we speak. lol.

Brings back memories. I see to work for K line back in the late 90's when I was a Merchant Marine. Sailed mainly on oil tankers and container vessels but never on a car carrier They are the worst when it comes to sea sickness

Always wondered why auto companies have never seized the opportunity for extra profit with enhanced tracking. Seems pretty simple for BMW or others to charge an extra couple hundred for the option. It could come with a dedicated website to track your vehicle. Basically a lite version of dealerspeed.

While anxiously awaiting my car, I decided to curtail my anxiety by sprucing up the garage a bit. I purchased some racedeck flooring (white and graphite). I also picked up some Husky Garage Cabinets from Home Depot. Threw some gray paint on the walls and left the front wall white. I'm not too happy with the color scheme of the floor and will be changing it, but here is how it looks as of now. Nevermind my 18 month old, she was a great help! lol

Well it looks like my vehicle finally made it State side today! It looks like it is going to be docking in Baltimore soon and should be arriving to Brunswick GA on the 21st!! To say that I am excited is a huge understatement. I also received my additional racedeck tiles for a new pattern in the garage. Stay tuned!

Congrats. On the tiles, you should have gone with SwissTrax. Much better product.

Thanks man, I would've but I got a killer deal on the racedeck, the swisstrax almost ended up being a dollar more per sq ft. Also, you have PM.
