Could just be a shortage of pigment which could presumably be addressed in the coming months. Or perhaps there is some more serious issue that will force them to discontinue it indefinitely. We will have to wait and see. |

It would be nice if "launch colors" were considered special enough to run a finite period but realistically I know market demand will make this determination. As for AY, If I had to guess, AY and even YMB won't last long as general color offerings, but will be delegated to the individual choice list. Where as SO(bringing this back where it started from) will always be destin for greatness!

So the saying "A Sahkir is born every minute" is not true then?

What's odd was that I had to log in to PKoD to see this news I posted. I would have figured that this would have been a bulletin on DCS/CenterNet instead. Perhaps if they did, we as dealers would have seen this earlier. I can guarantee that the majority of dealers in the USA still do not know about this...

Well, I have a question in to my CA since I have an order, confirmed by BMW NA, a production number, and an ED date of 15 May. I would assume that I would be OK, but want to hear it from him. The car will certainly not be built in February.

He just got back to me this morning stating that BMW told him since I had a confirmed production week, I will not encounter any issues getting SO. So that answers my question......

Still think it's odd that given everything is pretty much the same between the M3 and M4, SO was only removed from the M3 (which is cool if you have an order in on one), but not both... same assembly plant, same car (aside from the obvious). Wonder why just M3 and not M4 too?

That must be a terrible disappointment for so many people.
Here's my SO, I love the colour, wouldn't have any other.
