They are incredible cars, distinctly different from the other M3s/M4s, even special models like the CS

Love your build thread. Documented history on the car gives confidence to buyers vs a no records, 5 owner car off of auction/dealer lot.

The car has been for sale by same dealer since Dec 2022 - price was $108k so they dropped it to $100k. Looks clean and 1 owner Cali car is a plus.

Total steal on BAT today. Based on comments it sold at Barret Jackson for $130k a couple years ago.

Yea - the dealer left an easy $10k to $15k on the table - he didn’t know he could interact - hello??? McFly???

I agree the lack of seller interaction certainly played a part to the sale price. I'm surprised it sold, I would think the reserve would have been a bit higher.

Hoping someone has some good recs on where to post/sell my 2016 M4 GTS.

I'm in a bit of a hurry to sell so I was debating wether just trading it in to a local BMW dealer was a good idea, but I would love some opinions.

Depends on mileage, condition and history.

In general -

Bring a Trailer, Cars and Bids or PCMarket auctions will bring you max value if you have time and skill to photograph, present and manage the auction process (or have someone do it for you).

Trade in will be quickest and easiest but least value back to you. In some states you save on taxes on a trade for newer/more expensive car.

There are the traditional online sites like cars.com, Autotrader.com for a broad national exposure - in which case most important to price it reasonably otherwise it will sit.

Lastly there is this forum in the For Sale section but exposure is limited and most times buyers here expect a deal or a near perfect car.
