Is this how the rear M3 emblem is supposed to look?

I just noticed this today. The red stripe looks like it's missing a corner. Is this normal or something flaked off?

The car is less than a month old and going to its 1200 mile service tomorrow morning.

just got my F80 a few days ago and my red stripe is full. so i would say No, that is not normal

I am going to ask them to replace it under warranty.. The car is less than a month old!

Def not normal....return the car and demand a refund. JK...just get new emblem Im sure dealer will help you out.

It looks fine, but it's odd that several people are reporting this. Wonder if it came from the factory that way (in the excitement of the delivery experience I probably wouldn't have picked it up).

Not that it matters for cars under warranty, but there is guy who sells just the sticker on eBay. I noticed my Z4M coupe's stripes were a bit faded and found it much easier to remove the old sticker and put on the new one. I actually bought the whole badge first, which I still have.
