My wife just replaced her X5 with a Tesla Model S, an F80 M3 would replace my E90 M3 for a daily driver.
I drove an S6 and S7 recently to see if I wanted to try an Audi again, I still can't get along with the driving dynamics so I'll wait for an M3, also drove too big. Next closest competitor is either another X5 (if BMW brings in the big diesel) or a Range Rover, they look fantastic. I can replace my DD and a F250 in one swoop, but looks unlikely. The Tesla is amazing, but we need a longer distance family car until the supercharger network gets built out in Texas. Also have a reservation for a 2015 991 GT3RS to replace an orange 997.1 RS, if I can let the old girl go. The reviews on the 991 GT3 so far are beyond belief, phenomenal. But that's going to be one pricey car to be flogging at the track.
