Dealership discount in Toronto and area

Hi everyone,

Thinking to get a 2016 M4, what is the possible discount that I can get from dealers in Toronto and area?

Thanks!!

5% should be your min target if you need to custom order.

If the car is on dealer lot now, 6% should be achievable, imo

Watch out those excessive bogus fees. Just visit all the local bimmer dealers to see who will meet your demand

Bmw Toronto / parkview
Tcbmw
Endras

They are slightly easier to negotiate

Worst dealers in my past experience would be autohaus, budds and maranello

Thanks guys, I was thinking 2% to 3%. The sales advisor kept on saying that all M cars can sell, and there is no need for them to give any discounts to customers….. interesting…..

as for fees, every dealer will have different fees structure, do watch out:

nitogen air - $300+
vin etching admin fee - $200 - 300 range

These are not mandatory fees and dealer will have to take them off if you ask them to. If dealer refuses, then you can suggest OMVIC consider those charges as "upsells" and you, as the consumer has the final rights to not pay them at all. Dealer can face hefty fines from OMVIC for violation of such refusal and the worst case would be suspension of car selling license in Ontario.

Talk to Jay Wong at Endras. Tell him you found out about him from the forum and Paul says hi. He will look after you. Honestly the best sales guy I've ever dealt with.

markup is really 9.5%. Not 8% if you have gotten from CCC or unhaggle.

Interesting, yes it was unhaggle and it was from MY2015. Forgot to take into consideration the 1k price increase for MY2016. Thanks for the correction.

Thanks for all the tips!

I know this is a bit off topic. My wife wants a M4 but I prefer the 4 door. I know this is more about personal preference but how did you guys make the decision?

It was a no brainier for me the original M3 was two door, even they did change the name to M4, it will always to me be the M3 I always wanted. Plus it looks damn good in a two door!
