Ordered these a while ago, finally got them installed. Took ten minutes max thanks to Kbueno posting his simple solution of using a block of wood and a nice sized mallet. They pop right off.

Overall, I'm pleased. I was torn between the newer billet model and these after having looked at many of the other options out there. At first I thought "damn these things are huge" when they arrived, but once they are on they look great. Easy to clean as well. I like how they stick out a touch, it adds some grit to the rear.

Next on the rear end wish list is a simple gloss black diffuser.

Any side shots to see how fat they stick out? Anyone have any idea if a machinist could just cut the length back to near stock so they don't stick out so much?

I don't have any currently, if you look throughout this thread there are plenty.

I thought the same thing about grinding it down but you'd lose the notch for the guide pin.
