Owners ---- help! Have you heard this?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I tried to recreate the sound by driving slowly, accelerating, braking, and cornering at different speeds. I can't make it happen -- just does it on its own. I thought at first maybe a rock got caught somewhere it shouldn't have but not sure. Has anyone else heard this? Anyone have any thoughts? I'm calling the dealer in the morning, nobody will be there right now.

You could pull that wheel off and look carefully for a rock. Usually will get hung up somewhere near the brake caliper. If you don't see anything obvious take it to the dealership, heard of some rear diffs going bad.
