M Performance side skirts - protection against stone chips?

Im barely 400 miles in and I have a lot of light stone chips on the stock plastic side skirts just forward of the rear wheels. Stock 437s with no spacers. Do the M Performance side skirt carbon fiber blades prevent or minimize the chipping?

YES and YES. I've had mine for 13,000 miles and no stone chips Plus they are pretty cool and make the car look wider in stance. Very nice addition and highly recommended.
