That's actually a really good point. The e90 front didn't fit an M car, and it's the same story with the F30. Just put the F32 front on the new M3 sedan!

Agreed!
That is a fantastic pic too. It looks a little pissed off. I can't wait for the new M3 (M4) coupe

That looks quite nice, but won't your USDM model have the absurd license-plate holder?

I don't run a front plate on my M-Sport E91. Yes, I am risking a ticket.

All the f30 needs is a tasteful aggressive set of wheels and an msport bumper and it all works. I have no worries of how the m3 will look. None whatsoever. F30 will grow on everyone just like the e90 did. I think the front end is very bold and stands out. It looks nice and angry.

I'm honestly not a fan of the new look either, not even on the M5, but I am hoping it eventually grows on me too
I didnt like the M5 styling when it first came out, but the more I look at it, I like it.

It seems people dont like too much drastic change such as the f30 front end, but I really like it. And when Im in the city people crossing the street always look. I like the long front end that z4 like front end, especially in person. But everyones taste is different.

I think the m3 will look 5 times better then a base 3 series. I have a good feeling.

The F30 definitely looks better in person.

And with the MSport front end, all is forgiven.

I'm not worried at all, I think it will look terrific.

my grudge is the back of the car - i think the front looks awesome. the back looks like a plain ole 5er.

I have a feeling that BMW not introducing M3 sedan now (1 yr after F30), because of f32 front. This is why it's not F30 M3 but F80 M3. I am almost certain that M3 will have different face than F30. BMW will introduce M3 sedan after F32 is shown to public. This in my guess.

I think the new M5 and M6 are very well done. Great blend of luxury and sport, especially if you see them personally and not just rendering (For some reason they don't photograph as well as they look). As long as the M3 follows these models, I have no doubts it will be a great final product. And 450 HP from a 6 cylinder, how can you not love that? :-)

And to the opposite side of the discussion, when I see one within 100 feet of anywhere I am, even in pitch black on a highway and noticing the tail lights ahead, I know it's an F30. Every single one I see (and they are still a "rarity," even in LA) I notice and stare down.

I was questionable at first - Also one who really studies and stares down lines. I gave it a few weeks of thought. At first it seemed very brash and almost too fresh, but once I realized how similar it really is to the E90, you can see how severely improved and updated the lines really are; especially w/ the M Sport. One of my favorite things about the whole F30 is the M Sport rear bumper, it just adds that fat butt character and looks amazing.

All in all, I put my money where my mouth is and ordered one as soon as I saw that M Sport character tied in to the equation. Coming from an E92 M3 to boot!! The V8 is a bit too bulky for a city setting, even with the canyon roads and swooping valley roads. I miss my smooth N54 from the first 335i. Even though my HPFP exploded at 4400 miles

Quite surprised at myself to be honest.. I was "coupe-only" til further notice.. a Sedan? Yeah right.. But the F30 pushed me over the edge, quite easily.

Love at first sight, cant wait to have one on my driveway!!! my only beef is I wish they didn't sit up like a 4x4

It's the wife's car, but of course I'll have my hand in modding it. She wanted the 6MT and is already looking into the Hartge tune or getting an Accessport.

I guess it'll be a good transition into the F80 M3 for me.

This above photo or maybe the car itself looks enhanced somehow. Where are the fog lights? This (below) real life photo taken from another F30post.com thread looks more realistic I think. Agree the M-Sport is a must have option and makes the F30 look much better.

No, it's a real life, non-enhanced photo. Composition and equipment make all the difference. No fogs = US Spec, probably Canada Spec too.

Thank you. If that thing sat a bit lower, it would be one mean looking machine. throw on the splitter/lip combo i've seen on the bmw performance one, and you've got one hell of a front end.

Looking at the E92, the M3 model looks somewhat more aggressive than the M-sport...
I hope the difference will be more pronounced with the F models.
