5 days old and broken AGAIN!!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Picked it up Tuesday and everything was perfect until Thursday. The windows and mirror control totally died. Nothing would work. They reprogrammed it and said everything would be great. Leave the gym this morning and the windows decided to do whatever they want. Up and down and up and down..about 15 times. In the middle of traffic. On top of this it started to sprinkle so I had to drive like an idiot to get home. So frustrating.

EDIT:
Still no word on what is happening. The dealer is supposed to call me tomorrow with their "revised" diagnosis. If it is not fixed I'm calling their rep and declaring war.

Ahh no good sorry to hear that man. They'll fix it up and it'll be good as new, oh wait, it is *sigh. Hope it gets resolved quickly.

A simple, electrical and non-model-specfic issue like this is unlikely anything to do with being a first model year. Do a search, things like this can happen to all cars.

OP- hopefully the dealer fixes it properly second time around.

I suspect the window controls are not ///M specific and are on the regular 3 series. So, unlikely a first year issue.

With the f30 platform being out for awhile I'm surprised that the OP is having this particular problem.

Anything that has more than two bolts in it can be expected to break. It sucks it happens now to so many, and I will be pissed in a bit over a week if this happens to me.

I left my dog hauling car to my friend back home when we moved here, and she just called me telling the car and it's electronic hand brake had decided not to operate according to her will. I think I have taught her well ( Actually, I did teach her to drive!) since she had called first to a friend to get beer to the sight, and then to a tow truck. By the time the tow truck showed up, she was trunk enough with the beer bringer that also a taxi was needed.

Clearly I have no respect for the financial hit I'm about to take by fixing the problem, but old, new, full of russell fur or not, these fuck up everything!

The up and down non stop in traffic is hilarious. People must have been jealous of the weed you where smoking.

Yeah I can only imagine. At the red light I turned the car off and on about 5 times in hopes something would reset. People were definitely judging.
