Mine looked like that from the first time I washed it. It's a total garage queen and is practically only in the sun when I'm driving it. I thought maybe it was the pressure of the water from the pressure washer. I just run a little armor all over it and it looks new for about a wash or two then I reapply.

I have a 17 BSM F80 and noticed the exact same thing as the OP on mine virtually from the first week. It's only ever been hand washed every 2 weeks or so.
I bought some stuff this week for restoring trim. Didn't make much of a difference. I'll try one of the other products suggested in this thread. Anything would be better than it is now. Really ruins the look of the car from closer than 5 ft.

The black trim on either side of the windshield on my M4 is incredibly easy to scratch. When they replaced the windshield I replace those two pieces. You can lightly scratch them with the skin on your finger. I'll bet that taking the car through a carwash would shred them in no time.

IPA alcohol on a towel, wipe on the rubber scrubbing it...viola, gone. Its not going to damage the rubber, nor dry it out with one time either.
wrap your finger in a towel, spray your finger with the ipa (or put over the top of the bottle), and wipe in a back and forth scrubbing motion. Not too hard to rip the rubber, but with enough pressure to clean it. 70% should work the rubber isn't supposed to be shiny, it should have a natural matte finish |

Yes, do not put Armor All on the rubber seal. It will destroy it and fade the matte color off the rubber quicker than you think. The rubber is bound to discolor no what you do based on the environment conditions. My car is not a daily driver, always garaged and only see sun maybe once in 2 weeks and still, its starting to change color.
Seems like you need to find an oil base solution to apply for that shiny look. |

no oils...that will streak onto the paint and the windows.
The rubber isn't supposed to be shiny, don't make it. Same with interiors, don't goop them up, they are supposed to have a clean natural plastic look, not greasy |
