Rear Differential Being Replaced
Took MY17 F82 ZCP in yesterday (25,000 miles) to have a "whining" noise looked at, that would increase in tone with acceleration, and remain constant until the RPMs came to almost a halt. It took only minutes for the technician to determine that I required a new rear diff (under warranty.)
My question is; do I/they need to treat the replacement differential the same way they did for the 1200 mile break in service? The tech wasnt certain on how to answer this question, but my thought is the answer would be yes. Anyone have this done, or have insight as to what I should expect from the service center? |
