Lol, I've happened upon a full M Performance system... being fitted at this very moment, can't wait for it to arrive back home!

Swapped the springs for Eibach Pro Kit in November...

Keep it for when you sell the MPE.

There is a BMW dealer selling brand new CP exhausts for £250 that have been replaced with MPE from new, for that amount you are better off just storing it and selling the MPE separately when time comes to part with the car

How is the MPE? Is it noisy all the time or is it quieter in efficiency mode?

Lol, it does certainly make lots of noise.
But yes, it is relative to the engine mode. I think also Alex's Alpine stage 2+ map has enhanced the sound effects.

Efficient - similar to how it was before, just a little deeper. I wouldn't say much louder, if at all. Quite civilised really.

Sport - loud. Bangs, crackles, pops & proper deep burbles & roar.

Sport+ - as sport but far more pronounced.

Bump...

No interest to anyone? The 4 black tips alone are in excess of £300... I'll take less than that for the whole lot!

And £150 for exhaust fitting if needed on collection.
I'd consider selling the tips separate & posting even.

Someone please help me clear some space

When you say full system is it from the downpipes or just from where they cut it to install mpe ?

From where it's cut after the cats. Prior to that they're all the same.

Ah... no, I just changed the springs. I find the ride fine with the GTS suspension software.

When I had my GTS DCT flash done, I also had done the steering, LSD & suspension - So all now GTS spec...

The gts software does nothing for suspension mate as the gts doesn’t have edc. So unless you’ve had cs damper settings your suspension will be unchanged

I'm going senile. I've just checked what I had done...

Why I thought I'd had the suspension software changed I'll never know.

Nothing with EDC, it was the traction control.

Aside from the Black tips, what is the difference between the CP and standard exhaust?

It is an "M Sport" exhaust system. Non competition Package is a "standard" system.

"Even more than its good looks, the most distinctive feature of the M sports exhaust system is its potent sound, which brings added emotional resonance to the driving experience. The starting rumble and the distinctive burble on overrun never fail to get under the skin of dedicated drivers time and again."

I'm sure that's the software re burbles and not the exhaust itself.

That may be part of it.
But it is also an M Sports system. Which the standard F8x doesn't have.

The quotes above were from a published article.

Yep. As in an article for the CP car which has the software already and which also would have the exhaust. It's a sales article.

But as you said before. It's the tips alone which are worth a fair whack. Don't think you need to publish articles to help your sale. It's decent value. GLWS.
