Although I would replace RS6 as acceptable. Not a fan of the RS7 look. R8 is nice looking, but relatively boring compared to its competition.

All the cool shit Audi makes is only available overseas. Less R8.
How can they categorize that 4GC looking S5 as a sportback when they call the A3 hatch a sportback as well? I just want the RS3 to finally release. |

I should've been more specific in stating that (IMO) it's a crime that the RS Avants are unavailable here. Though I do understand why. |

The TT RS is definitely available everywhere including the US. And, FWIW, the RS3 hatchback is also no longer available anywhere. Now it was never offered in the US to begin its, so the production stop means little to us. But it is nevertheless one more Audi RS product that you cannot buy new anywhere today, not just the US. No word yet if it will be reintroduced with the new 400PS aluminum engine once the sedan starts production. Quote:

New RS4 Avant, RS5, and RS5 Sportback will receive the 2.9L biturbo V6 from the Panamera. Engine features a top mount hot-v turbo setup. The RS models get increased power output over the Panamera, to 450hp and 442tq.
RS5 to be unveiled in March at Geneva Auto Show. http://www.motor1.com/news/133393/au...-specs-leaked/ |

Thanks for posting.
The 2017 auto show debut for the RS5 coupe is consistent with prior intel suggesting it would hit the US market in 2018. There's usually a big lead time between introduction and appearance on the market in the US. So that's good news. And confirmation of the Sportback is awesome. That's going to be a very compelling car. The 450hp output figure is a bit disappointing if true though. That's only a few hp more than an M3 ZCP, but the car is sure to weigh quite a bit more than an M3. And it is less power than the ATS-V, C63, and Giulia. I was expecting they'd be closer to 500hp, so hopefully the 450hp output isn't final. Quote:

Anyone considering making a change for M3/M4 To RS5? The car will be announced in geneva and rumors that its going to use the 2.9L V6 from the new panamera but with higher outputs.

After having owned both, there is no question RWD is more dynamic. The question, at least for my situation, is how much I will be taking advantage of that handling versus superior traction in day-to-day situations, off the track. Also with a new baby, I'm just a tiny bit guilty that I'm sacrificing some safety for her, but I'll admit not guilty enough to go full minivan. Yet.

This will be on my short list of next cars. But I gotta say, I've been seriously obsessed with the new TTRS of late. I'll take one in Nardo Grey with black optics and OLEDs!!
