Picked mine up in Sacramento (substantially better deals than the San Francisco area). It was a 2 hour drive there in my old S5 (trade in) and then a 3ish hour drive back in the M4 since I took a few scenic back roads so I could mess around. First thing I did was play with the power and traction and have a few oh fu*k moments getting used to the new car. It was a little different than my rather tame AWD S5 to say the least.

No, but seriously, I went home, opened up my box from IND and ripped all the chrome off my car and swapped with black starting with the grill. Then I rid the car of the Huffy bike reflectors. A week later I had it coded. Then tint, then radar then Mode Carbon M4 style spoiler.

Valeted the car at the Welt, saw the BMW Museum (rushing/thinking about my car the whole time!), then immediately maxed it out on the Autobahn on the way to Kochelsee. 163mph indicated, probably closer to ~160mph GPS speed. Didn't expect to go so fast but the car's stability at speed gave me so much confidence!
