Thanks for this PDF. Sheds light to a few questions I had. In particular, it seems that BMW has definitely put in their 2 cents when it comes to the KW Clubsports. BMW really wants to keep you in check with those nanny rings/clips, I mean blocking rings and c-clips.

For those that want to make height adjustments on your own, have a bag full of curse words and a 12 pack of beer.

Also confirms the modified bedplate in the S55 for both CP and GTS

Quote:
In comparison with the S55 engine in the F82 BMW M4 Coupé, the S55 engine in the F82 M4 GTS features a modified bedplate. The reinforced bedplate is taken from the competition package of the S55 engine. The bedplate from the competition package has a higher rigidity in order to meet the demands of the higher torque curve of the S55 competition engine.

Thanks for sharing. Love it.

Can anyone explain to me why the GTS has stuck with the 19" front wheel size? Why didnt the CP stick with the 19" front with 20" rear, or why doest the GTS have 20" upfront like the CP?

Cheers

Just the winglets, they are upside down.

Interesting to see the weight vs the E92 GTS

A while back when I read the S55 technical documentation, it mentioned 'max g force 1.2' for the oiling system.
The S65 words it differently but mentioned 'max 1.4g'

Now in the GTS version I see the exact same language as the S65, 'max 1.4g'

I like the lineage listed for history.

E30 M3 sport Evo
E36 M3 GT
E46 M3 CSL
E92 M3 GTS
E92 M3 CRT
F82 M4 MotoGP Safety car
Vehicle fact sheet F84 M4 GTS
F87 M2 MotoGP safety car
Vehicle fact sheet F87 M2 GTS

I ADDED two lines that (should they be added to a brochure in the next year or two ) will certainly add to the heritage ...

I do find it rather interesting that the F84 moto GP safety car was listed with the other production vehicles , and there does seem to be a very nice looking F87 M2 MotoGP safety car running around right now with M carbon ceramic brakes, titanium exhaust, a club sport coilover suspension, a chassis x brace partial cage, sport seats , and big honkin rear wing .. .. perhaps a little water injection as well ?

All S55 have a new block part number (which includes the bedplate) starting with Dec-2015 production. There is no distinction of block part numbers between the CP and base cars.

Yup.

Once again, BMW is emphasizing the new bed plate for the ZCP/GTS and not saying a word about the change on the non-competition S55 engines (which are identical post 12/15).

Interesting note about the dme already being designed for water injection. I wonder if that means easy adoption for regular f80 cars.

If you read how to engage this, it basically just says to disable DSC and then floor it, regardless of transmission setting. I love how it says: "The vehicle accelerates with maximum power and with corresponding wheel slip, depending on surface." This sounds like a fancy way of saying the car will burn rubber depending on how slippery the road is.

In other words, yes, the standard F8x has this feature as standard.
