Thumbs up #bigwang from Vorsteiner

Hi all,
I got a set of Vors risers from Alex@autocouture and they are fantastic! No more visibility issues even in full aero angle. They are very high quality. I would say matching and maybe exceeding factory quality. Fitment was absolutely perfect. The O-ring machined grooves were identical to factory. Very very happy!! I will give a little of my personal advice to all whether you are changing the risers or staying stock. When I would wiggle the wing in stock trim it had minor flex/movement. Never really considered an issue but I have felt the GT wing(factory from Ferrari) on my friends 458 and you could literally sit on that thing! So rigid and strong. I never even felt comfortable closing my trunk from holding my wing. When I had it apart I checked all bracket mount fasteners and they were NOT at a correct torque. This is not a fault on BMW M as this is a track car and with that comes periodic maintenance throughout. The fasteners have aluminum bevels and the brackets themselves are aluminum. I figure after some considerable down force being applied the bolts needed a re torque due to just common crush of aluminum. I was able to get the same amount of further torque out of all fasteners so they were all torqued evenly from factory. The wing is now very solid! Let me know if anyone finds the same outcome. Thank you so much Alex and Vorsteiner!

Thanks Felix. No I wanted the OEM look to be kept. Just lifting it that couple inches really changed the entire aesthetics of the stock wing. Like we say about so many things, they should have came stock at this height. Did you notice your old CF mirrors on my E92 at the back?

I like the visible decal under the wing. Someone should make a generic 'M Power' one.

Yeah I had that made from the windshield decals we had at the 24hr Nürburgring last year. Turned out great!

There's a method to the madness! The mirrors are a must for the Art Car wrap theme to work. Putting a F82GTS wing on with my factory risers. GT4 front lip.
