If you still have it and you ever decide to sell your E90, let me know

There's no difference. Atlantis metallic is the official colour, but we all call it Atlantis blue. Atlantic on the other hand..

Yes, exactly. Everyone call its Atlantis blue, but the official color is Atlantis metallic. I stress this so much, as you never know what may happen: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=842479

I have another BMW Individual car in Mora metallic. Here it looks red, but in real life its quite purple. I even call it the purple car. But its not Mora red, or Mora purple, or Mora violet... just Mora metallic. My point is, colors can be quite deceiving to the observer. There should be safeguards in place to prevent this... The official BMW color code, for example, but things do happen due to miscommunication.

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying.

BTW, according to this BMW Colors PDF, the color is "Atlantis"...so maybe that is why people call it Atlantis Blue...?

I think ultimately people say whatever they call it themselves in their own mind; essentially whatever is easier for them to remember.
