First Post! New M4 Owner Who Cant Stop Grinning ;)

Hey Everyone,

Well don't know if this is the right place to post but just bought a 2016 M4 convertible that was traded in from an Audi dealership. Was looking at the 2018's but couldn't pass up the price on the 2016 that is fully loaded with 8000 miles and a few extra surprises thanks to the Audi dealer knowing nothing about BMW's

Besides being in great condition the car has the Dinan exhuast with black tips and the Dinan carbon fiber intake installed. It also has a Vorsteiner carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser. The icing on the cake... just got back from Dinan-authorized BMW dealer where the car was bought and it has the stage 1 Dinan tune too

Trying to keep this short but the car sounds EPIC with the Dinan exhaust and the top down.. all the swooshes and nosies on the downshift are almost orgasmic. My last 2 cars were Mercedes and I think its safe to say I've seen the light and I'm officially an M convert

Thanks yeah the Audi dealership I got it from was clueless. Was hard keeping my cool when I noticed the Dinan exhaust and popped the hood and saw the intake. They had no idea it was all aftermarket including the carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser. The sales guy at Audi did try to convince me the CF interior was an extra option that cost more

xD oh god that is sad. figured they would at least try to do some research before selling it

Haha yeah thats why I pulled the trigger same day. Also they had it listed as having a manual in their listing probably stopped a lot of people from even considering the car...

When I first saw the listing online you could see the DCT in the pics so I called the dealership to see if it was stick or not. The guy literally says "hold on let me send someone to check the car"

Seems like you got a great deal! And as someone else pointed out, the e brake boot and handle as well the dct knob is an extra mod you received. I hope this person traded it in for an Audi R8. Otherwise, they went with a downgrade!

And my golly, the m4 vert seats always look so plush.

Thanks GrussGott for pointing that out! The Audi SA said the owner traded in for a new RS7. Well their loss is my gain

Looks awesome congrats man, you have the Carbon Fiber Gear Select Lever but not the surround (M Performance Carbon Fiber Center Console - Part # 51162358358) I suggest you get that to match the whole interior, here's mine:

Honestly it does look really good... might have too get it along with some carbon fiber side skirts and rear spoiler to complete the look

lol i was on the same boat, was looking for 2018 but found a great deal on a 2016. i owned it for about 2 months and i still can't stop grinning hahaha love this car to death
