Do you still get the compartment with Executive package, side+top cameras, without the driver assist package?

Does side+top view cameras delete the left storage console? The button is by the shifter I believe. Or is it the buttons for active cruise, etc.?

I understand its for drivers assist. I'm asking if side+top view cameras as a standalone option deletes the compartment, since it's part of drivers assist package but also the button is in the shifter area.

I like the side+top cams but they're certainly not a "must have" option and I'd like to have that storage compartment too.

Side and Top View is controlled from the center console are next to the shifter.
Here's a shitty pic my wife took during delivery showing the compartment.

The visor clip or container won't work for us M4 people. We already have to worry about cracking out visors mirrors because the seat hits them if not moved forward in a specific order. It would suck to also break our glasses if they were on the visor.
Storage is an issue in this car if you have drivers assist. I'm waiting to see what the new LCI center looks like in person with the sliding cover. That might provide a more versatile solution rather than pulling that stupid cover out of the glove compartment each time you don't want the cup holder and would prefer the flat surface. |

Where do you put your sunglasses?
Important question since I like acting like David Caruso.

Check this thread:
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1445472 stilljester's invention is the best place to put sunglasses. It looks and feels OEM, because it is OEM. Holds glasses, is out of the way, and looks great. You can also get versions from ebay, which work as well, but the OEM version is a little lower profile and cleaner. Tim
