I was speaking from experience not a keyboard. Tires or Talent. That's all Ask any winning teams crew what data they care about for times position and ultimately wins. Temps and pressures define when the tire is ready and optimal. Whatever it's compound or purpose. Everyone knows there is a Magic 'sweet spot' desired pressure @ temperature. Say it's "36" "hot " for sake of example. Define the track term: 'marbles' for me ...

The softer compound tires on the GTS have an advantage on a launch that's why people use drag radials for better 60 ft Last edited by The Choosey begger; 11-29-2017 at 05:20 PM.. |

Chassis unburdened by commuter car underpinnings. Superior mechanical grip. Built from ground up to be pure sports car. A 2018 ZCP is a great value at <$90k. |

Completed 2 M Track days and drove the M3/4 standard and CP. Amazing how different the CP performs on track. Really phenomenal experience.
Regardless, still found myself wanting to drive my e92 M3 home. |

They need multiple runs for this to mean anything. Still, drag races aren't what the GTS is for.
