There’s this weird 06-07 328i with M stripes all over his car and an M badge on the left side of the trunk, he always tries to race me or my friend who has an E92 M3

Hmmm, I wish, but we both drive safely on this one road due to it being an incline up a hill with some S turns, hot spot for accidents, he always comes flying from behind, I did however meet him on a good stretch of road once, it was the first time I saw him, I gave him a little head start and then I floored it. Having that power kick in made had me smiling and laughing

Sometimes we get the short end of the stick in car names, and sometimes we don't. The original Datsun 240Z was known as the Fairlady in Japan. That name would have killed the car here. However the Renault 5 GTL was called the "LeCar" in the US (ridiculous) and the first generation VW Golf was called the "Rabbit" in the US. I guess that VW thought that American consumers would confuse the German word for "gulf" with the game. By the way, the name "Miata" was only for North American markets. Mazda called it the MX-5 elsewhere.

Oh, I cannot omit the Ford "Merkur", which was the European Ford Sierra.
