I would never spend that much on a M4, nor any M.

I would get a Audi R8 or GT3 or McLaren 570s or F-Type R or ....

What?

You would leave off the full leather but you would miss it now?

Drop, spacers and exhaust flap mod.. probably all I'll do to this one. 130k A) is well beyond my car budget and 2) would be much better spent on a stripper gt3 as stated above

With $130K I would get a GT-R with a tune and smoke all of you. Haha.
By the way didn't Paul walker have a heavily modded E92 M3?

A 150k M4 would not be daily driver any more. As far as the GT3, it's a lot more forgiving than the previous gens.

Sadly I agree with you mostly.

I have a weird hate/fuck him/ love relationship with mine.

I messed up the color, naturally. I've done really well with mods since nothing stock is just not right, but ...

When I started him up the first time, I was happy. Nothing added or removed has made him much better for me, since he represents freedom to me.

Sure, ay is a bad start for mods, and it's not like I've made him more subtle on the way but but the fuck yeah this is mine is in my head on every start.

I would recommend every owner who wants a 150+ car to think if you want a car or a toy. I'm willing to bet that much money thrown into this won't impress many of the daily drivers

I have a friend who daily drives a GT3 and tracks her modified e92 M3, roll cage and all. Go figure! But yeah, GT3's aren't as teeth jarring as they're made out to be. Maybe the old ones were.

Base on the RS is ~170k, with some opts it's easily $200k.

Its all perspective. A lot of people study overseas and dropping over 100k on m3 and mods but still cheaper than buying a stock m3 at home. You guys have it made with the cheap price tag and free maintenance. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, you'll still be about $40k shy w/ taxes and markup. Lol

This list is full of crap I don't need or want. An M3 built to my standards would still be under a $100K.
For a $150k I'd buy a GT3 and with another $10k thrown in I'd scoop me up an STI for a daily. You can keep that modified monstrosity, likely full of sponsor stickers to yourself.

That m4 build may cost $157k, but I highly doubt anyone will pay $157k to buy it...it's still a $70k M4 at heart with the same powerplant.

Except that you couldn't take your kids to soccer practice every day on your way home from work.

See how that works there? See what I did ?
