OTA map updates in Canada
Hello, I own a 2017 M4 Coupe equipped with I Drive 5.0. The car came with version 2016-2 maps. According to the BMW web site and glossies, we are supposed to get four updates per year Over the Air (OTA) and updates should be pushed without user action. My maps did not update at all. Has someone else experienced the same issue? Has someone else received revised maps via OTA? Any suggestions? Thank you

Ha! I had no clue that this was a thing until my screen went all weird on me one day while driving!!!
If yours hasn’t updated, best to make an appointment with the dealership unfortunately...

Thanks, looks like yours is working. Any idea on the map and I-Drive versions that you are running. I spoke to my dealer but their only solutions was to sell me a USB stick with a newer version. Why should I pay for something that should be free and labor less in the first place ...
