Can I substitute a basic M leather steering wheel instead?

Thanks in advance.
Personally I am a fan of this wheel. Ask Mark's M and he'll tell you why he dosent like it.
One thing to note with it, deletes your heated steering wheel, which is why my car has a regular leather wheel in it still.

I do not believe you can substitute the wheel with your build, but I can assure you there will be people that will trade wheels with you if you do end up ordering one!
How much does it cost to add the regular leather wheel back on? Is the wiring for the heated wheel removed if this wheel is installed or is the wring kept but just hidden?

Any one price one of these ultimate packages with their dealer? I got a quote back and they came back with MRSP and like $500 off. I know they are probably not giving out discounts because 2017 just became available for ordering. So in the past when is a good time to buy for discounts or better lease rates? Hoping to have it for next April since even if I order one now it won't be here until Oct and choosing an individual colour I'm told it will delay things 2-4months. Or am I holding out for nothing because they don't do deals on M3's?

The CCB are not part of the package but the MPE is.

So for real its:

MY2017 M3 Ultimate Package Items:

$4500 Premium Package
$1500 Driver Assistance Package
$6500 Competition Package
$5000 Executive Package
$4600 M Performance Carbon Package
$4900 M Performance Exhaust
$750 Smartphone Connectivity

TOTAL = $27,750 so a savings of $2,750 and assuming you like one of the individual colours and you were going to order an individual colour anyhow then its a bonus $5000. But they suggest they are offering it for free, so I would not include this as a savings as you probably were not going to get it in the first place.

Speed Limit Info is now included at a savings of $350 and Connected Drive is now included at a savings of $500 but there is now the SmartPhone Package which costs $750, so they have it all figured out in the end. Also, don't forget if you want the DCT its another $3,900

Ultimately, this a good deal if you were planning to order a fully loaded car with M Perf Parts in the first place. Otherwise, may as well just order a la carte.
And what's the price for just the ind. Paint( like San Marino) 5k CDN.$

Yes! The one at BMW Laval is an M4 with Comp Pack + options (the MY17 is the M4 with Ultimate Pack).

I recommend the Ultimate Pack if you like the individual colors with all the other options.

Deals can be had on M3s. You can get 5% for sure or take your deal elsewhere.

Would get Black Grey Individual for sure!

Who can confirm if this is with MPE or not?
It is my understanding that it is the MPE.

Had the opportunity to see Grey Black in person the other weekend on a M6. Interesting colour. Almost a brown hue in low light with a hint of purple. Definitely a unique colour.

We paid $6900 for Ferrari Red and were quoted the same for other colours.

Grey Black is a cool colour. Its got hints of purple and brown in it in certain lighting.

One of my sales guys has a grey black 335 Mperformance edition and the owners new Grey Black M5 is almost here too.

I'd say ideal lighting for Grey Black is Magic hour (an hour before sundown). Just looks UNREAL then.

The specific other colour is a secret

But it isn't an ultimate package colour or another readily available individual colour (i.e. champagne quartz, etc...). But again we confirmed it with our CA that it is $6,900 still...

Depending on the paint the cost varies. Laguna Seca blue for example is not an individual paint when you order, just an additional paint option for less. I paid 7k for atlantis blue

Please post some pics of your car next to LBB. I am very curious to see the difference side-by-side.

I will for sure. My brother just picked up his x4 LBB and there's always an x5m or x6m in LBB around my dealer

Please don't ever say that again. YMB and LSB are a world apart in difference. Its not even close

I think what you've seen is all the YMB pics where the color has been saturated to look much darker blue than it really does in real life. Just imagine powder baby blue. LSB is more like a dark blue with a hint of green in it. It changes depending on the light.

Couldn't agree more. Great point. YMB is a metallic too. I am not 100% but I don't think LSB is.

LSB has no metallic flakes of any kind. Must have been a typo in the literature.

Well, it's still blue

Joking aside, haven't seen both live so I'm sure that there's a reason to offer both.
