M3CP ceramic coating
After seeing Pure Crema's SMB M3 after it was coated , i had to get mine done , the depth to the gloss was amazing ...
I had mine done at Mr Detail in Melbourne , Nik did an amazing job and is a top bloke to go with it it had a level 1 paint correction hard to swallow on a brand new car, however no more swirls and ceramic coating Although the lighting is not great in the photos the tanzanite really pops and the metal flakes in the paint really stand out ... and the shine ...wow I was skeptical about "paint protection" as it just seemed like a dealer rip off , however these coatings have really advance over the past 5 years and im extremely happy with the way the car looks |

Looking good.
You'll love the ceramic. Just a high pressure hose off and the car looks clean again! Did you get the wheels done?

Won't help with stone chips. Great for the shine though.
I think the best idea is clear film (eg suntek, xpel) to the front that is vulnerable to stone chips and ceramic coat the rest. Some also put a coat over the clear film at the front although the clear film is pretty dirt repelling. Last edited by drgmt; 08-20-2017 at 05:21 AM.. |

Love my ceramic coat and helps a lot with the wheel cleaning, a quick rinse boom done.

I've seen people mention getting the clear bra on the front then Ceramic Coat. Are people getting the coat over top of the bra or starting from the end of their bra's?
I'm asking because the place I got my m4 detailed at a place that does bra's and coats. I asked about doing this and the guy I talked to seemed like he never heard of it being done with coat over bra. Just want to confirm I understood what I had read on the forum. |

Hi mate.
I have heard of coat over film done by a few people. What I did though was bra on the front and coat on the back. I didn't do a coat over the film due to not having the time to take it. I should note that the coat was applied to the whole car prior to the clear film on the front. Many places wouldn't do the film over the coat as they were concerned it wouldn't adhere. I had no problems with the film adhering with the vinyl place that agreed to do it. Last edited by drgmt; 08-20-2017 at 10:17 PM.. |

I had my wheels done. While hosing does remove a lot of dust it doesn't get it all with the 666 20inch wheels and I still have to use a fallout remover (you know the smelly stuff that turns purple) to get all the dust off.

Anyone know of a spot in or around Grafenwhoer Germany. I realize this might be a long shot.
