Yeah I'm the same at the moment. I have a deposit on one but struggling to justify the crazy price when a CP is around 140k these days

Same boat myself, it's not an extra $100k worth of car than a ZCP.

Absolutely not. Especially when you could have an M2 and M3 for similar money.

Though, is there any reason to have both an M2 and M3 at the same time?

I suppose if one was dedicated to tracking..

Yeah the CS would be no different on track than a CP with better tyres

as a previous r35 gtr owner, i came to a similar cross road when looking at buying a nismo gtr

far too much money for a car at end of it's model run that only provides incremental improvements at best over current car

i would bet within a couple months, we will have most of the CS electronic changes being offered as code'able just like GTS trans and mdm

the ceramics are just about only thing i regret not optioning on my zcp as i do on all my cars where applicable, however from what i've read they aren't the best implementation on this platform and squeak/rattle constantly

Minimal squeaks, no rattles here.

My Megane trophy R, now that was a real squeaker lol I have as yet, after 7 months, had to get in balls and all to clean the wheels from brake crap, there is none, love em.

Hilariously, the Ceramics are only a good option for daily/back road drivers.

Don't expect them to be the best solution for the track. They wear terrible and cost a bomb.

Plenty of threads on this forum about this.

imo that's a bit of an interweb ol wives tale

using ceramics on the track in a road car is all about temperature management and how well the oe manufacturer has integrated cooling ducts, if at all

once you overheat a set of ceramics, they're pretty much done, but you have to be putting a road car through some serious track abuse/volume of laps, to get it to that point

i don't track my cars, so tbh i only tick the ceramic box for the lack of brake dust/constantly clean wheels as a hobbiest detailer

It looks to me like they either oversubscribed to cars when ordering stock or underestimated the impact of the BMW finance debacle.
can you pm the dealership you get from?

Thanks

Euro just shot up to $1.19 today. Be ready for a shock when they announce the M4 CS price in $$.
Currently for sale in Europe at 116,900 Euros. That would bring it up to $139,000+
Even if you consider some type of adjustment to make it more competitive around here, it is not going to be cheap!
