Radar Detector Installer in MD/DC/VA?

Looking to have someone help me with hardwiring a RD into a mirror mount.

I understand this is a very simple procedure, but I certainly am not handy at all when it comes to these things.

As an aside, I'm fully aware that these are illegal in VA and DC. Let's leave it at that.

Any audio installers or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

If you're ever up in the MD area for one of the meets and still do not have it installed. I'll kindly install it for you just as long as it's a standard detector like a V1 or Max360 etc...

If you're willing to try it yourself here are some pics of my install. No issues with performance or anything on the location of mine.

Thanks for the offer and your guide! Exactly what I was hoping to do. Looks like that Escort StickyCup will fit the detector right above the rearview mirror.

Does it ever get in the way? When you turn your head or lean in towards the center console, etc.

Trying to conceal it as much as I can, so that it's tough to identify from an outside perspective.

This really is a super easy process and EAL's guide is very helpful. I have my V1 mounted just to the left of the mirror way up and its a perfect location. Never in the way and easy to reach. I used the Invisicord because they had one to power the bluetooth dongle as well but the process itself is really easy. Same deal if you're at a meet I am happy to help but usually I am at the same meets as EAL so I would be happy supervising and criticizing!! LOL

Hurleys auto audio in Tysons corner they do great work, they aren't the cheapest
but they do quality work. They installed a RD and a Radar jammer for my M4.

No, it doesnt get in the way when i turn my head or lean in and I have a big ass head lol

No performance issues that I can tell. The only downside is that the visor cant fold out all the way. Basically just folds straight downward on my car. I think you can cram the suction cup up into the headliner a little bit more but when I did that it was hard to get to the Mute button on the Max 360. Looks clean though.

Do it yourself and save the coin. The plastic housing under the mirror comes off easily but pushing in a little bit in the center and then on one side to release the clips.
