My M3 gets a hot Italian friend...

So one of friends has collected his new car so I couldn't resist a quick snap of them together.
He obviously has great taste in colour too

I unfortunately haven't had a chance to have a go in the Alfa yet but hope to soon

I always though the F80 had a really nice short chucky rear, but the Alfa does look purposeful in those rear shots. The F80 fills its arches better though.

I agree, I love the rear of the M3 but the Alfa rear is super squat and lovely! In the flesh the rear diffuser looks very deep and racey! I think it's let down a little by lacking the "flared arches" of the M but it is still its best angle! If only they could sort the front end out.....

Yep I really like the Alfa in the flesh but I'm still glad I got the M. At the moment anyway....

Garage List
I'll need to see an Alfa in the metal to make my mind up. All the pictures I've seen just doesn't do it for me when compared to an M3/4.

I like that rear qtr angle but it has no flared arches and the front looks a bit fugly to me.

I totally agree here. It's nicest the rear and looks great in the flesh on its own but if they'd made the std Gulia a little more narrow like the 3 series they could have made the QF with flared arches that would have then looked awesome.

Totally agree about the front puts me off them completely which is a shame.

Ironically not yet. Our paths have not aligned for time to take a run

With the weather taking a winter turn I suspect it's not going to be a sensible idea anytime soon either. He's constantly mentioning that the tyres or proper sketchy when cold and wet....

He has mentioned it's been back for quite a major software update which has apparently improved the car in a number of areas. So much so he was even talking of a company that offer a simple tune for more power!?!?

If I manage to get a run in it I'll report back.
